just had this, great to see some solidarity in Brighton and support from local Greens..

On Tuesday, trade unionists and their supporters will be meeting at the Brighthelm Centre to hear from 3 groups of local workers currently involved in industrial disputes.

A refuse collector will explain how they forced the council to back down from their attempt to cut pay after just 2 days of strike action.A strike that was widely supported by members of the public and other trade unions.
A postal worker will also be on the platform to explain why they have been on strike recently, what they won after 4 days of strike action, and what their union, the CWU is currently doing.
Finally,a worker from Brighton Housing Trust will give the latest report from their dispute, which has included strike action and an all night sleep out,to prevent their pay from being cut.
